BioCare Diagnostics offers the following cardiac testing and ultrasound services:
- Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
Sound waves create pictures of the heart and the patient receives no radiation exposure.
Sound waves create high-quality moving pictures of the heart and its blood vessels.
An echocardiogram is performed to obtain images of the heart and the areas around the heart using contrast.
An exercise stress test is used to measure the effect of exercise on your heart.
Ultrasound imaging is used to demonstrate how well your heart muscle is working to pump blood to your body. It is primarily used to detect a decrease in blood flow to the heart from narrowing in the coronary arteries.
Recording the electrical activity in the heart to assess a patient’s cardiac rhythm.
A monitor is worn for 24 hours during normal activity to continuously records the heart's rhythms.
A cardiac event recorder makes a record of your ECG when you have fast or slow heartbeats, feel dizzy, or feel faint. You control when to record your ECG and sent the results by telephone.
